The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of everything this city has to offer. We loved being right on a lovely canal, it added to the charm of our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities provided were great. The staff were attentive, making sure our every need was taken care of.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is perfect - situated on a quiet canal, it is ideal for peaceful walks. Despite being in a quiet area, it is still within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even provided us with printed restaurant suggestions and a special list for my son who loves waffles. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel provided bikes for guests to explore the area. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with the waffles here surpassing all others we tried in town. we were thrilled with our stay and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Hotel Van Cleef is located in a quiet area, on a lovely canal just outside of the main city center. Guests appreciate the beautiful and clean rooms, with good quality toiletries and comfortable furnishings. The staff provides a warm welcome, offering personal tours and recommendations for dining options. The attention to detail and boutique feel create a special and memorable stay. The breakfast is fantastic, and the hotel has luscious lounge areas and a terrace by the canal for relaxation.

The twin beds in the lowest category room were pushed together, causing discomfort for some guests.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The decor was stunning and the views from our upgraded room were beautiful. The staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was excellent, with easy access to the city and a lovely terrace by the canal. The secure car parking was a bonus, and the bath/shower room with power shower and exposed beams added to the overall experience. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a loft with its own lounge in our suite, as well as the giant whirlpool tub in the bathroom.

The hotel's beautiful exterior and tastefully-designed interior added to the magical experience. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from all the attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay.

I recently spent a truly wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. Here, everything was just perfect, starting from the prime location on a quiet canal, perfect for a peaceful stroll. Despite being located in a very quiet street, all the main attractions were easily walkable. I also appreciated the excellent room service and the availability of services such as bike or car hire, airport shuttle and newspaper service.
